What is an
ARC Insider?

Depending on who you talk to, an ARC is either an "Advance Reader Copy" or an "Advance Review Copy". Essentially, it is a *FREE* book that is provided by a publisher directly to a reader before the book is publicly available. In return for receiving a free book, all we ask is that you provide an honest review to help the rest of the reading public decide if it is a book they will enjoy reading. You are free to decide whether you want to simply rate the book online or post a review. At After Dark Ink Publishing Co., we provide ARCs while the book is in the copy editing stage. Your feedback (the good, the bad, and the ugly!) is critical in helping us to determine if the book is ready for public distribution and will help shape our marketing efforts.

What is the publishing process?

Thank you for your interest in helping our authors! We're always looking for book reviewers and social media influencers to help promote their honest opinion of our books. There is no cost to participate in this program.


If your application is approved, you will receive a free copy of the book.


NOTE: Requests for Kathryn Caraway's The Unfollow Me Duet is closed. We are accepting applications for books that will be published in our Spring 2026 catalog.
