The Story

Unfollow Me is a raw, deeply personal true crime memoir based on actual events Kathryn Caraway experienced as the target of a sadistic stalker.

Kathryn meets Todd, an IT contractor for the police department. He coaxes her into a brief relationship and turns what should have been a normal breakup into a reign of terror.

Armed with an insidious knowledge of technology, Todd weaponizes the digital tools engrained in our society, and most households.

He doesn’t have to be at Kathryn’s house to watch her.

   Or hear her.

He doesn’t have to see her car to follow her.

Or know where she is going.

He doesn’t need to have her phone to read her text messages.

Or know who is calling her.

And he even tells her why:

"You are mine and I don't share!"

Todd asks Kathryn if she wants to see death coming. She tells him no—an answer that haunts her every move. The more she learns about Todd’s past, the more she suspects he is responsible for the unsolved murder of a woman she has one thing in common with: Todd.

What Readers Are Saying2.png

Our mission is to promote awareness of stalking and its impact on victims through meaningful education and action.

Victims of stalking often struggle to get law enforcement to intervene because the definition of stalking, which varies from state to state, is loosely defined as a pattern of behavior that causes a reasonable person to feel fear. This can be a difficult element for victims in presenting their case to law enforcement. Many well-intentioned organizations promote incident logs as a defense against stalking, which are essential; however, logs alone are simply not enough. See our “Tips” tab for more information.
